My husband and I hired Tanya as our day of coordinator for our September 2024 wedding. We could not have done it without her. She kept everybody on track and made sure everything went according to the timeline on the day of. With regards to price, she had the most reasonable prices in the area. Most coordinators in the area seemed to have outrageous pricing for providing the same service as Tanya.
I was fairly organized when it came to providing her with information in the months, weeks, and days leading up to the event. She told me exactly what she needed me to provide her with in advance since I did all the wedding planning. I am so grateful I hired her as a coordinator to make sure everybody knew where they needed to be and who needed to do what on the day of. I did not have to worry about that and it really made the day feel so much more relaxed because I knew somebody else had everything handled and I could just have a good time and party. The only regret I had was not hiring her for the rehearsal.

WOW, I hired Tanya as a day of coordinator and it was incredible. She was super helpful and managed everything I needed that day and things I didn't even know I needed! She took the pressure off of me and my family so I was truly able to enjoy the wedding and still follow the schedule of events. I 100% Recommend their service to anyone out there.

Hi there! I am in the very, very, extremely early stages of wedding planning and already feeling a bit overwhelmed! I don't feel strongly about a specific season/date. Earliest summer 2025, latest spring 2026. I know that I at the very least want a day-of coordinator but am possibly interested in more help along the way. Where do I even begin?!
To whoever is reading this- a bride, soon-to-be husband, family member, or anybody else planning an event you are in the right place. I can assure you that you will want to give Tanya of Totally About Weddings and Events a huge consideration for whatever event you are planning. My husband & I hired her for our May 2023 Wedding & we couldn't have been more thrilled with our choice.
There are a handful of things that stood out to me (the bride) about Tanya during our journey of planning a wedding together. I found that she was extremely responsive, proactive about things you communicate you need assistance with, kind-hearted, hard-working, flexible, affordably priced (unlike many other planners I sought out), organized & truly fantastic to work with. Tanya helped me plan my wedding from beginning to end- she sought out each & every single vendor I used as well as made the initial communication with them. This part of wedding planning I absolutely dreaded but Tanya had all my vendors for me within 1-2 weeks time. She worked with me within my budget & negotiated prices & packages on my behalf with the vendors! In addition, communication with her was frequent if not every day & she was always very quick & thoughtful with her responses. I felt I could ask any question I wanted without shame or judgment & she would give me her honest & professional opinion in return. I planned my wedding with Tanya from across the country so communication was key. Tanya printed out, addressed, stamped & mailed all my invitations for me as well. They came out beautifully. I share this because I think this really shows how dedicated she is to her clients. Throughout the months of planning a wedding, I sent her every single piece of decor I used through the mail & she stored it & brought it to the venue for me. Each piece I sent was at the venue the day of the wedding & set up to my exact vision by her & her mom! This, once again, reveals her dedication & commitment to her clients as well as her organizational skills & ability to see a bride's vision.
As for the day of, she printed out timelines for each person in the bridal party & helped us all stay on track. I felt completely carefree the day of & knew that everything was being handled by Tanya & her mom. Family & friends also gave me compliments on how nice & attentive Tanya was.
If you made it this far through my review, I hope you are able to grasp just how grateful I am for Tanya for all that she did leading up to my big day & on my big day. You will not regret hiring Tanya for any event you have planned!
